Upcoming Events and River’s Edge Trail Projects update

Wednesday evening MTB rides continue.  Meet at Lewis and Clark Overlook, 6:30 pm.

Thursday Road Rides – Meet at 6 pm at Knicker Biker.  Call Knicker Biker, 454-2912, to verify ride destination.
 
Pedal for the Medal-Moonlight (P4M) rescheduled to  Friday, SEPTEMBER 25th .  This non-competitive 6-mile cycling event features the River’s Edge Trail along the scenic Missouri River. Riders will enjoy the splendid views of West Bank Park, the Historic 10th Street Bridge and Elk’s Riverside Park under a luminous moon.  This year we have added a 25-mile segment starting in the early evening.  25-mile Participants will finish their segments during the Moonlight ride.  More information and registration here.
DON’T PUT AWAY YOUR ROAD and TT BIKES JUST YET!  The 2015 Montana State Time Trial AND Team Time Trial events will be held near Laurel, MT (west of Billings) on Saturday, September 19th! Info Here.
 
River’s Edge Trail Projects
 
1.  Design of improvements to the River’s Edge Trail in West Bank Park are under way.  For more info and to comment, check the public announcement here:
2.  Bids open this week on the Sun River Connection bike trail.  This huge project will fix a major gap in our City’s non-motorized transportation network.
3.  The Trail folks are raising money to repave the Trail between Oddfellows Park and Broadwater Bay.  Contribute at www.thetrail.org
4.  Lots more stuff always happening on the River’s Edge Trail.
