Forest Service Workshop, Comments due soon, Big Stack Bike Park, Film Festival

Really good bicyclists turnout at the HLCNF Community Workshop on this past Wednesday.  Please plan to stay engaged throughout the Forest Use Planning process.  Next step is to get your comments in by March 11th.  Be sure to identify trails that you enjoy bicycling on.  I hope to forward a few suggested comment pointers from the Gravity Guild before the 11th.  The HLCNF website focused on the Forest Revision is here.
Here’s a concept Bike Park that we hope to incorporate into the former Black Eagle Smelter site when it eventually gets opened to the public.  Thanks Doug Ormseth, Shortgreass Web Development, for increasing our presence in the conversation about what to do with the Smelter site.
The Telluride Mountain Film festival comes to town on March 8th.  Very cool films similar to the Banff Mtn Film Festival.  More info here.

The USFS’s Bob Gliko would like to come to a club meeting, talk about trails and see if anyone would like to volunteer to work on trails in the Little Belts or Highwoods.  We’ll have another meeting in early April so stay tuned.
The Trails along the Missouri are riding GREAT.  Don’t miss the excellent conditions and fine riding weather!  See you on the Trail?
